Hi David- I hope you are having a nice Wednesday. I help with many races up and down the ticket. In the race in question, 1) I challenged a competitor to create first on ballot placement. 2) I secured a cd3 endorsement. 3) I secured an IDP endorsement. 4) Speaking positions were offered and taken advantage of across the district. 5) Call lists were generated for the candidate targeting D households. 6) Press releases were done. 7) Social media was shared. He didn't win, which is not good news. We have many other races to help with into November. I announced publicly that I would not be running for election next year on April 16th at the CD3 Dinner and also in a letter that went out in the winter. I will finish my volunteer CD3 job term which expires in March

Im sorry im hard on our party leadershio- like in the "godfather"- its not personal ist just business/politics.
as you may be able to tell- I like you- you are a nice woman a nice person; and all. (not THAT WAY of course)-
BUT-
I suppose after the way the Allen dems and the Journal gazxette and Ns media have been crappy to ME- a NAVY VETERnwith a couple medals (woo hoo)- an two college degrees-Its no fun being the "Rodney dangerfield" of local politics.
A local "commentator/activist- has a contrary view- about access to party resources- and party support.
I have given up trying to get any useful city/ countyprecinct person lists from MY own precinct and the surrounding 1 or 2 square miles- ( IPFW vicinity)
so anytime i can well- be a royal pain to our own local "royals; i enjoy it.
The Henrys are criminals- they operated illegal gambling machines ' tax evasion on tose revenues; wire fraud( the generic felony); and so on.
Cindy henry has been a PESTILENCE to me ever since oh- 1995/1996 when i turned Democrat- ( im a moderate centrist fiscal conservative/ social liberal generaly)- so GOP or DEM- either that im in agreement with.
WHICH IS WHY IM BALLISTIC on JIM "WANKS" and his pro lifer zealot nutjob wife; and all of them.
YOU all arent doing a good enough job of teling the truths about tommy schrader- but let ROACH do one tiny thing; and all you all are all over me; party media; etc.
like the dems have always had a problem finding even a warm body(except schrader ROBERSON; TOM COOK - to fill ballots by the filing deadline- it isnt rocket sciene.
again cindy henry- theyhad several weak or il fitting liberal socilist candidates who cant win in this district with all the KOOKS here.
and thats anECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ISSUE TOO- RFRA; PENCE; THE STATEHOUSE.
SO- Ill post your "rebuttal; if you say so- that you DID TRY- but as YODA SAYS- THERE IS NO TRY ONLY DO.
have a great day-
WE NEED TO START CIRCULATING A PETITION DRIVE FOR AN INDEPENDENT DEMOCRAT FORCONGRESS- DRAFT SOMEONE- RECRUIT SOMEONE- SOWE ARENT STUCK WITH A CHOICE OF JIM WANKS AND TOMY THE "DRECK" SCHRADER.
Jack Morris said "oh ill take the blame ; but weill he take the "bullet" figuratively speaking?
and ditto for CINDY HENRY?
ok like i said, carmen; its not personal; its just politics.
keepthis CHANNEL OPN- I have a cool photo of a GIANT NAVISTAR TRUCK with TRUE BLUE EMBLAZONED ON ITS SIDE ( as big as the one on your ass teehee).
hey im really not a bad person; im just rabid about politics like some foks are rabid about their sports. and this costs us money- plitics.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21ALIVE) --- The man who will be running for Congress from this area as the Democratic nominee will not have the blessing of the party's leadership.
53-year old Tommy Schrader doesn't fit the standard congressional candidate profile, but it seems he meets the short list of requirements to run for the important office.
Local Democrat leaders were hoping for a different primary winner in this race.
Schrader is pumped about beating out two other challengers in voting Tuesday.
The Allen County Democratic Party chairman says it's his fault Schrader will represent the party on the November ballot.
We caught up with Schrader on South Calhoun Street downtown around noon Wednesday.
He was wearing his Green Bay Packers cap, drinking a beer.
He lives at the Coliseum Inn hotel on the east-side of Fort Wayne.
He filed his candidacy with the secretary of state's office in February, fulfilling one of the few requirements necessary to qualify to run for Congress.
"Very happy man, I'm a very happy camper, and I want to thank the people of Fort Wayne, Columbia City, Kendallville, Auburn and everywhere in between for voting for me," Schrader said.
When we asked if he thought he was going to win, he replied matter of factly, “No”.
"There are very few requirements. For example, you do not have to be registered to vote to run for U.S. House of Representatives. In addition, you don't have to be a resident of the state of Indiana to run for any district within our state," said Zachary Klutz, a Republican member of the Indiana Election Commission.
Klutz says, you could be a convicted felon from New York and take a stab at a seat from northeast Indiana in Congress.
With no requirement that you gather a certain number of signatures from registered voters to run, like is the case with a U.S. Senate contest, he maintains it's the easiest office to qualify to run for, federal, state or local.
You need to be 25 years of age, have been a U.S. citizen for 7 years prior to the election, and file your name on time with the Indiana Secretary of State to be eligible, that's it.
It will be Schrader against Republican Jim Banks for Congress in November, even if some Democrats find that a little embarrassing.

The unconventional Congressional candidate: 1-on-1 with Tommy Schrader
Tommy Schrader won the Democratic bid in the U.S. 3rd Congressional District race
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Tommy Schrader clinched the Democratic nomination in the 3rd District Congressional race in Tuesday’s primary. Wednesday was a day of celebration for Schrader.
“Drinking a couple of beers to be honest and if you don’t like that don’t vote for me,” Schrader said. “I had a smile because I had a feeling I was going to win.”
But who is Tommy Schrader?
“Tommy Schrader is an honest guy that wants to work for a living. He’s a hard worker,” the man running for Congress said.
Shrader claims to have a viral video on YouTube and loves politics. He has made runs at several other offices, and said he has been on the ballot for eight different races. He described himself as a conservative Democrat who is pro-life, supports raising the minimum wage and supports LGBT issues.
“It’s in my blood,” Schrader said about his political ambitions.
Schrader is a Fort Wayne native. He went to Snider High School before dropping out after his sophomore year when he said he developed a mental illness. He later got his GED and studied politics at the Anthis Career Center. He’s worked in a library, as a poll worker and a volunteer at the AIDS Task Force. Unemployed today, he said he’s trying to get an apartment so he can move out of the Coliseum Inn in Fort Wayne.
“It’s kind of hard to manage money when you smoke and you drink beer and hotel rooms,” Schrader said. “I’d like to get an apartment.”
In his free time, he said he likes to read, study politics and hang out at his favorite spots around town.
“I like to hang out at Pint and Slice and Ziffle’s Rib Bar,” Schrader said.
Pretty much just a regular Joe, according to Schrader.
“We pay our taxes, we don’t cause any problems and have a couple of beers. I smoke cigarettes. I know it’s not good for my health but I’m not some prude or homeboy that doesn’t do anything but watch TV all day long,” Schrader said.
Schrader said he is hoping to move from his room at a motel to Washington, D.C.
“So one of my goals is to win the election and frankly make $189,000 a year wouldn’t be bad at all you know,” Schrader said.
He will face Republican candidate Jim Banks in the General Election this November.
