FORT WAYNE CITY COUNCIL IS "VEXED"?? Nothing to be vexed about. Stop giving million dollar abatements to companies who don't really need them (ahem....a want is not a need), use the City Light Lease money for operations and infrastructure, stop dabbling in "economic development" projects that end up being corporate/government welfare projects, and get back to managing taxpayer dollars with the idea of decreasing taxes....yes, DECREASING TAXES.

  • David Christopher Roach well douggy P- the US senate / house democrats/ president/ were trying to do that- hep stop the carnage by reducing the number of so-called assault weapons ou ther, and small capacity magazines, but seems the TTT party, and stutzman- dont care. and as for the rest of it- its up to the inner city community to get their stuff together, and pull their heads out; and that also includes the city police, and chief- to increase saturation patrols in gan infested neighborhoods, and maybe experiment with drones ( in lieu of more expensive airplanes, or helicopters- to gather intelligence.. so try to get that through the slg heads in the NRA, the TTt party, and stutzman, and maybe we will see progress?

I was shocked, shocked- that the city council/mayor say theres no money - BUT HANDED THE did 150,000 BUCKS JUST LIKE AN ATM. or a rich sugar daddy. can i have some cash? sure, DIDDY. here you go. no questions. yet- theres no monye to open the swinney park pool in the summers for the poor children, whos parents cant afford cushy luxury swim clubs, or "Y"'s - nor the cash or time to do all the driving in SUVs( do pick up trucks with gun racks count? to shuttle the kids around. heck- thse kids are lucky if they have bikes..

WHERE ARE ALL THE GOOD PAYING MEDIAN WAGE JOBS? HUH? AND- 30 million here for water works, 30 million there for sewrs ( which granted- are infrastructure , which is a good investment, and see saturday march 16, 2013page 4bbelow the fold- whats ALL THAT MONEY? WERE DOES IT COME FROM? WHERE DOES IT GO? 6000 MILLION/ ALMOST 2/3 BILLION!!! BILLION DOLLARS.. oh- but theres no money= the city is broke. well- maybe f the richy iches ( eric doden )types come to mind- were annexxed, and paid their fair share- the city govt wouldtn be broke- having an adequately funded govt that mets our needs, and we pay for our collective wants- well- its shameful - its like having a dike system , full of holes, and saying- well- we can only fill a few of the holes at a time- the end result- we all end up drowining..
  • David Christopher Roach and last rant- 25,00 bucks ofr a survey by andy downs ( downs center at IPFW)- to survey citizens about local govt- an out of town, out of state canned survey- like an IFW PHD- cant use IPFW students to gather the data, or concoct a survey of his own? and then- why not survey so called stake holders- just ask them- neighborhood activists, precinct people from both parties( all 25 democrats- snicker); labor union leaders- locals- chamber, business leaders- the obscenely local richy riches; heck- ask the homless, even- i could find 800 people to survey, and for 25 k- for a month or 2 of work- well- SHOW ME!!! THE MONEY. stupid pointy headed psuedo-intellectuals who cant park their bicyces straight.. (LOL).. OK- I COULD GO ON- but i see their eyes glazeing over, eyes rolling, and the inevitable SIGH.. lol... but seriously- TAG TAEM, GINA- GREAT JOB.

Didier has a facebook page9 one of the few councilmen who do- and is rumored to be running for MAYOR- the PICK OF THE LITTER - best choice as far as im concerned- yes- 2015- but gotta start early.. so keep nipping at their ankles, and yapping, gina- we are both pesky ankle biters, its soo much fun.. yip! yip! grrrr!

    David Christopher Roach KILL THE CITY/COUNTY DEMOCRAT BEAST FOR GOOD- ANNEX EVERYTHING. the local democrat party is a bunch of crumbs, anyway( the central committee party hacks, and hangers on..). the STEVE SHINE WAR MACHINE HAS CRUSHED THEM, except for a few pockets of resistance- wayne townshi, one state house districs, the mayor, city clerk, and 2 council districs, and one at large, and a mayor- well- if shine is serious, and the machine grinds on- the GOP majority city council- this should be their first choice- stomp out the rotten democrat party hacks, once and for all. AS FOR THE GOOD AVERAGE DEMOCRATS- WELL THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR ALLWING INCMPETENCE,CROOKEDNESS, ETC BY YOUR CENTRAL COMMITTEE..
